This area has a wide assortment of most everything you'd desire in your mountain getaway escape. Depending on the season, there are an endless number of activities for you to choose between when you wake up each morning....

SO TELL US.. WHAT'S YOUR PLEASURE???
The Ashland Mountain House is a beautiful old rustic Farm House renovated to today's comforts and expectations. The Inn is over 200 years old and was one of the only large Farm Houses controlling hundreds of farmed acres throughout the area many years ago. It was run by the well-known Case family. We acquired the large home in 1983 from Pauline Case and at the time she was only catering to the Seasonal Hunting Guests. Since then, we have widened the usage of the Inn to Cater to the interests of vacationers in every Season. The Winter is the busiest Season with the Hunters of early Fall meshing right into the Skiing and Snowboarding Season of the Winter. But what is becoming much more popular in recent years is Windham's reputation as THE Mountain Biking destination throughout the warmer months. It is believed by many that Windham will be the best Mountian Biking location on the East Coast soon. Whether you're riding cross-country or downhill racing on Windham Mountain itself, or decide to go exploring an infinite amount of miles of newly formed local cross country Mountain Biking Trails.. you will find every terrain you seek.
Ashland Mountain House B&B is the Perfect Getaway.
Our Inn is comprised of 10 guest rooms. Really, it's 8 guest rooms (Each with their own private bath) and two, full one-bedroom Apartment/Suites (Each of which have fireplaces as well!).
